As observant as I am, I can be oblivious to the world

OMG, naturally after I posted that last blog I tried out that "next blog" button again and every effing blog it took me to was some sort of black and red, long hair with over sized t-shirts, I'm gonna eat you, scary heavy metal screaming type blogs. WTF?!?!?! I am clearly way to pretty in pink to be classified in such a dirty category. Which also led me to this memory/eye opening experience that I must share with you.

Ok, so believe it or not in my younger years I went through a stage of going to local shows which featured heavy metal, screaming into the microphone bands. I know, who knew?! I was good friends with a band, which naturally lead to being friends with other local bands. Granted I never really was a fan of this particular music but my friends were and I loved my friends and loved hanging out with them. At the time I never really payed any attention to what people were wearing in those crowds, basically because I wasn't really into it for the music/crowd but more for my friends. Anyway, long story short, I went to a show one night and I was wearing pink (duh.) and the singer of one of the bands (whom of which was quite good friends with my crew, but he really scared the crap out of me and I was always terrified of him even if he said hi to me) told me, maybe next time you could wear like a black sweatshirt or something because you are at a rock show and pink doesn't really fit in around here. Ugh. If only I had the balls then that I have today I would have told that mother fucker off. But I didn't. And it scarred me. bleh. Fucker. Anyway, I guess my point is now I always recognize that type of crowd for not having any pink in it and only being a sea of black scary people. Whatever, that wasn't the last time I wore pink to a rock show, so HA! eat that Mr. lead-singer-of-an-exstinct-band-that-I-can't-remember-the-name-of.
